The current report summarizes the status quo analysis of the educational system in Georgia and China regarding meeting the needs of different key stakeholders in terms of modernizing the current higher education system. In addition, it describes the challenges that need to be addressed to implement creative and individualized pedagogical approaches that support the provision of individualized learning pathways which cater for the development of social, civic, intercultural and transversal competences of learners.
