პროექტის „სტუდენტზე ორიენტირებული სწავლება - მოწინავე რესურსები საქართველოსა და ჩინეთისათვის“ STAR (2016-2019) მთავარი მიზანია უმაღლესი საგანმანათლებლო დაწესებულებების ინსტიტუციური განვითარების მხარდაჭერა პარტნიორ ქვეყნებში (საქართველო და ჩინეთი) სტუდენტზე ორიენტირებული სწავლების მეთოდების იმპლემენტაციით და უწყვეტი პროფესიული განვითარების სტრუქტურული ერთეულების დაფუძნებით, რომელიც მიზნად ისახავს აკადემიური და ადმინისტრაციული პერსონალის პროფესიულ განვითარებას.
პროექტ STAR ის შედეგების დანერგვის, განხორციელებისა და მდგრადობის უზრუნველსაყოფად დაიგეგმა ღონისძიებები, რომელთა მთავარი მიზანია პროექტის ფარგლებში განხორციელებული ღონისძიებებისა და საბოლოო შედეგების შესახებ ცნობადობის გაზრდა, ახალი კონტაქტების დამყარება, უმაღლესი საგანმანათლებლო დაწესებულებების განვითარების მხარდაჭერა და სტუდენტზე ორიენტირებული სწავლების დასანერგად ინსტიტუტების მოტივაციის გაზრდა.
თითოეულმა პარტნიორმა უნივერსიტეტმა პროექტის შედეგების გასავრცელებლად, განსაზღვრა საკუთარი სტრატეგია, რომელიც ინტეგრირებულია პროექტის ზოგად სტრატეგიასა და გეგმაში.

The Learner-centred Teaching Manual (A Training Pack for University Teaching Staff) presents the outcomes of the Sustainable Learner-Centred Teaching – Advanced Recourse for Georgia and China (STAR). Project which brought together academic staff willing to exchange experience and expertise in the field of learner-centred instruction.
